Our association wishes to perpetuate the memory, life and work of composer and conductor Gustav Mahler (1860-1911).
It is the meeting point and reference point for all lovers of his music but also for people who wish to discover the art and life of Gustav Mahler.

Founded with the support of the Mahler Music Library, the Gustav Mahler Society was founded thanks to a private initiative with the following observation:
France does not have any organization like ours, whereas this is the case in other large cities (Vienna, New York…).

In addition to its mission of transmission, the Gustav Mahler Society organizes and sponsors regular cultural events around Gustav Mahler’s universe. Open to all, these events will have privileged access for our members.
Thanks to human and communication resources, the Gustav Mahler Society supports the largest number of concerts and events related to Gustav Mahler. To this end, the Gustav Mahler Society gives its members the opportunity to leave public and collaborative notices on concerts and recordings related to Gustav Mahler.
Through its active team, the Gustav Mahler Society publishes newsletters for its members as well as in-depth articles on music or art of or in connection with Gustav Mahler.
