If we were to extract just one permanent attribute from Gustav Mahler's music, it would be light. Sometimes it grows darker, it often explodes, but it still lives on. Timeless by its very nature, this music of light leans towards a form of hope within the human soul and redeeming nature.
The ‘Gustav Mahler Society’ is run by its two founding members: Hervé Le Guennec, Chairman and Guillaume Boccamaiello, Treasurer. Marina Mahler, the composer’s granddaughter, is Honorary President of the Gustav Mahler Society. The office leads initiatives proposed by the Gustav Mahler Society and directs all its creative orientations.
