Mahler Festival Leipzig – Symph.3

Prior to each symphonic concert we invite you to attend an introductory talk. Prominent scholars of Mahler’s oeuvre will adopt unorthodox approaches to lead the audience into a deeper understanding not only of the music in question, but also of a variety of thematic aspects of Mahler’s musical cosmos as a whole, as well as of the fascinating course of his life. Talks will take place in English (Mendelssohn Foyer) and German (Schumann-Eck) 45 minutes before the concert begins.
